About the Author-
  • Sean Rossiter’s hockey idol growing up was Glenn Hall, the original butterfly goaltender. Rossiter still plays the game, making every mistake he warns young players to avoid. He has played in international hockey tournaments in Santa Rosa, California, and Whistler, BC. Among his 18 books, 11 are about hockey, including eight Hockey the NHL Way instructional books (co-written with coach Paul Carson), a history of the Vancouver Canucks, and biographies of Dominik Hasek and Mario Lemieux. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Paul Carson is a sports administrator in the field of hockey development. Most recently, he chaired the Hockey Canada Coaching Committee and served as the Provincial Coaching Coordinator for the British Columbia Amateur Hockey Association. He was also a contributing author and editor of the successful Hockey Canada Skill Development manual series. During the 1990s, Paul was an assistant coach of the UBC Thunderbirds for seven seasons. He lives in Calgary, Alberta.

Pat Quinn played defense for various NHL teams from 1963 to 1977. His coaching career began in 1977 with the Philadelphia Flyers, then the Los Angeles Kings and the Vancouver Canucks. Currently, Pat Quinn is Head Coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He lives in Toronto, Canada.
